Academic Calendars

Each year the Vice Chancellor approves the University's Academic Calendar:

• Academic Calendar 2021
• Academic Calendar 2022
• Academic Calendar 2023
• Academic Calendar 2024

Wall Calendars are produced annually by Academic Services Division. Please note, wall calendars for the following year are generally available from early December.

UQ staff are required to order the Wall Calendars through UniFi:

• 12 month calendar - Order Code 888828 portrait
• The 12 month Academic Wall Calendar - 2024 is also available to print without ordering.

The Calendars include:

• semester commencement dates;
• The University's Orientation program, held in the week prior to commencement of teaching;
• revision and examination periods;
• graduation dates; and
• mid-semester breaks, end of semester breaks, and public holidays.

There are other locations across the University website which provide dates related to student and academic administration. These include:

• UQ Events: Academic Calendar (includes dates relating to Semesters 1, 2, Summer and Research Quarters)
• my.UQ: Enrolment and class sign-on
• my.UQ: Teaching period calendar
