The Student Progression section provides centralised services and support to ensure consistent and high-quality advice and services across all campuses of the University.

The Student Progression section has the following primary functions: 

Graduations

  • Facilitation of the conferral of Awards following successful completion of degree requirements;
  • Organisation and running of Graduation ceremonies;
  • Maintenance of the Graduation website;
  • Production of Graduation documentation including Testamurs, Academic Transcripts, Australian Higher Education Graduation Statements;
  • Maintenance of the Academic Records Portal and processing of orders;
  • Verification of past Awards.

Academic Progression

  • Management of processes administering the monitoring of students' progression through their program in the context of the Academic Progression Procedures;
  • Issuing of warning and show cause notifications related to above;
  • Processing of show cause related submissions and subsequent administrative actions.

Enrolment

  • Provision of advice to staff and students in relation to key enrolment dates and procedures;
  • Facilitation of late enrolment changes;
  • Coordination of broadcast emails related to enrolments across study periods and relevant key dates;
  • Production of Calendars and date configuration;
  • Management of Change to Finalised Grades requests;
  • Administration of the Virtual Exchange program.
